Lead Engineer - R&D - Hydrogen Reciprocating Compressors (6-15 yrs)
- Develop & manage R&D facility to support the design and development of a new range of hydrogen reciprocating compressors.
- Identify and work with consultant to get relavant certification for storage & testing of Hydrogen in R&D Lab.
- Lead and manage all activities required to successfully development of R&D Lab.
- Carry out all mechanical and electrical assembly work, including to ATEX and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records relating to all projects.
- Conduct testing of conceptual prototypes to an agreed timeframe and test schedule.
- Conduct testing of modifications to current product and components to assess their effect on performance.
- Conduct evaluation of competitors- products.
- Design and maintain appropriate test rigs for the above tasks.Assist with the evaluation of test data.
- Produce reports to allow technical evaluation to be made in conjunction with Engineering personnel.
