Supply chain lead/Head OTC/FMCG

Job Description :

- Supply Chain Lead to Head of Finance & Operations, Cipla Health Limited and responsible for Supply chain operations, Key processes viz. S&OP and project managing the New product development process

- Project Manager for key initiatives in the area of operations and supply chain

Responsibilities :

The Supply Chain lead will be expected to ensure the smooth functioning of Supply chain at Cipla Health limited. The work involved shall include, but not be limited to the following :

Ensuring the Smooth functioning of Supply Chain function with a focus on :

- Robust Demand Planning

- Efficient Supply Planning

- Production Planning

- Procurement planning

Inventory Management :

- Defining Scientific Inventory norms

- Ensuring maintenance of Inventory norms

- Ensuring maintenance of best in class service levels/ OTIF

- Ensuring the most efficient supply chain network with lowest possible Total Delivered Cost ( TDC) with a right mix of P2P vs Loan licensee sites, Location of mother warehouse, combination of company Managed depots & CFA managed depots

- Process Leader for S&OP processes - Supply and operations Planning

- Leading the design and implementation of the S&OP process

- Alerting the leadership team on the progress and watch-outs

- Understanding and highlighting improvements & optimization in processes

- Project Manage the New Product Development ( NPD) Process

- Developing a comprehensive NPD project plan in alignment with stakeholders across organization

- Project Managing the entire NPD process

- Ensuring that progress of the NPDs as per agreed plan

- Alerting the leadership team on the progress and deviation

- Issue Resolution & Escalation on a timely basis

Ensure the Project management & delivery of Key Organization level project like :

- Working Capital Optimization

- Continuous improvement plan / Margin improvement initiatives through value chain analysis, optimization and negotiation

Tracking of key business processes and performance :

- Sales plan and performance

- Performance against various building blocks identified

- Supply Chain monitoring

- Other operational aspects

- Identify and Drive key initiative in the area of Distribution, Procurement & Contract manufacturing along with parent's (CiplaLimiteds) Procurement & Contract manufacturing team. Strike a right balance of Outsourcing vs Insourcing
