Exposure:

- Automation, Project based Company, Machine tool/SPM Machine Manufacturing.

- In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing processes, Costing, and Procurement strategies.

Purpose of Job:

- Develop New Vendor, Vendor Negotiations, Global Procurement, To buy Sheet Metal parts, Conventional parts, SPM's etc..

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and Costing knowledge of all type of Manufacturing components or Parts In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing processes, costing, and procurement strategies.

Vendor Development & Sourcing:

- Identify, develop, and onboard reliable Vendors for various Manufacturing components and services.

- Evaluate supplier capabilities, cost structures, and capacity to meet business needs.

- Capacity to manage a large volume of Vendors (approx. 70 to 100)

- Support new Product development (NPD) by identifying Vendors for prototyping and scaling.

Cost Management & Negotiation:

- Lead commercial negotiations and finalize pricing agreements to ensure cost optimization without compromising on quality.

- Handle buying volumes up to - 100- 150 Cr annually.

- Expertise in Global sourcing, Vendor negotiations, and Contract management.

Cross-functional Coordination:

- Collaborate with Design, Assembly line, Engineering, Finance, and Production to ensure timely material delivery.

Team Handling:

- Must have team handling experience minimum 10 to 15 members

- Knowledge of Conventional as well as Special Machines and its processes.

- Global Costing Knowledge.

- Global Communication and Negotiation Skills

- Can Lead Team Seating in Abroad

- Ready to Move/ Travel around the World

- Good Communication with Global Peoples.

- Knowledge of various currency's and change in currency

Key Authorities:

- Daily follow-up with Vendors.

- New Vendor Development as per requirements, including Costing (if required) and Vendor negotiations.

- Global sourcing as per requirement.

- Team handling and coordination.

- Submitting detailed reports to the reporting Manager
