Lead - Mechanical Design (8-12 yrs)
- Product Mechanical requirement study & compliances report
- Develop cost effective products for Electro Mechanical products
- Develop Mechanical architecture for products - Vehicle packaging, Material selection, product design - plastics and metals, meeting customer requirements, testing and validation
- Customer & supplier interactions
- Develop and follow Uno Minda product development processes
- Responsible for DFMEA, Design for Assembly(DFA), Manufacturing (DFM), Tooling (DFT), Cost etc.
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Tooling supplier, Manufacturing teams to translate project goals into relevant design solutions.
- 2D drawings, 3D CAD/surfacing and industry standard CAD tools hands on experience.
- Creation and Maintenance of design documentation.
- Support and co-ordination for prototyping.
- New idea patents submission - self and team
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 8+ years- experience in Mechanical Engineering in automotive Electronics products.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Diploma, Graduate or Postgraduate Mechanical Degree from a reputed design school / institute.
