Lead Principal Engineer - ADAS & Vehicle Systems - Automobile (12-21 yrs)
A leading automotive technology organization is seeking a senior systems engineering leader to own end-to-end ADAS system development across multiple vehicle programs. The role will lead architecture definition, system integration, validation, and delivery of advanced driver assistance systems, while mentoring teams and driving future-ready technology roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end ADAS system development for multiple vehicle programs from concept to production
- Own system architecture, specifications, interfaces, and integration across hardware and software
- Drive project delivery, milestones, risk management, and senior management reviews
- Lead DFMEA, DVP, system validation, vehicle testing, and compliance activities
- Oversee ADAS algorithm and system software development using C, C++ and Python
- Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams and drive technical excellence
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 13+ years (M.E/M.Tech) or 15+ years (B.E/B.Tech) in automotive systems engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in ADAS system-level engineering and product development
- Deep expertise in vehicle networks (CAN, Ethernet) and associated diagnostic tools
- Strong background in DFMEA, DVP, validation, and automotive quality processes
- Experience with ADAS sensors, sensor fusion, ECU architectures, and real-time systems
- Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring senior engineering teams
