Lean Energy Solutions - Solar Technician (2-5 yrs)

- Communicate project activities including progress, budget, risks, issues to relevant stakeholders and advice on the solutions to be taken.

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project.

- Assess the job site, identify and resolve any potential hazards

- Create or interpret the solar panel installation plans, mapping out the steps of the installation and where all of the components will be installed.

- Install, inspect, maintain and repair solar panel systems, including the solar collectors, concentrators, batteries, pumps, fans, or support structure.

- Do any and all electrical work needed to connect solar system to electric grid.


 - This includes proper grounding systems, controls and all testing necessary.

- Weatherproof the solar installation in accordance with local safety regulations and the specifications of the manufacturer.

- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques provided

- Manage workers/contactors at site to ensure quality & timely delivery of projects

- Represent lean energy at the client's site and respond to clients- needs

Skills & Qualification : 

- A diploma in Electrical Engineering, a Bachelors degree will be an added advantage.

- A valid T3 License. (Optional)

- Registered with the relevant regulating body.

- At least 4 years of relevant work experience, with 2 years managing complex projects of solar installation and commissioning in commercial & industrial sector.

- Relevant training in health and safety areas.

- Results and detail oriented with a very hands on approach.

- Able to operate under high pressure with limited resources.
