Job Description :

- Lead a team of 100+ people along with management of one Lac square feet warehouse area.

- Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate

- Planning future capacity requirements

- Organizing the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress;

- Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.

- Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

- Briefing team leaders on a daily basis.

- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.

- Checking for damaged or missing items.

- Planning the delivery and dispatch of goods.

- Monitoring and setting aside storage tracking stock levels using computer program.

- Overseeing stock control and processing order.

- Keeping stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirement.

- Inventory majoring Physical v/s Book stock accuracy all inventory point location.

- Supervise oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.

- Ensure timely closure of all the orders

- Determine the transit time and dispatch accordingly.

- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

- Exceed expectations for productivity, daily workflow, product availability & accuracy.

- Regular monitoring of operational metrics, SLA's & KPI's to ensure its on tracks.

- Processing franchise and own stores within agreed SLA to meet the requirements of stores.

- Monitors performance metrics (KPIs) to understand service and efficiency trends across self-deliveries and 3PL for forward deliveries.

- Fully Accountable for Delivery time, RTO, Returns & drive strategic decisions to control.

- Interfaces with operations function & channel partners to minimize Returns & quality defects to customers.

- To formulate SOP's at the fulfillment centers on pick up, sorting and last mile delivery activities.

- To maintain daily MIS reports and to attend monthly review meetings with client on issue resolutions and on future business prospects.

- Responsible for identifying cost/service impacts and making recommendations to support business initiatives and requirements.

- Interfaces with operations function & channel partners to minimize Returns & quality defects to customers.

- Supervise billing, COD collection and payouts to vendors
