Profile : Line haul designing and planning (Transport operations)

Designation : Managerial

- Track Line Haul metrics to monitor Network efficiency & enhance customer experience. Key Metrics in Line Haul are Capacity utilization, on time delivery in LM & DC, Perfect Delivery, Perfect returns.

- Line haul team management for daily operations, Handle route optimization along with load management

- To coordinate with zonal teams and facilitate placements of vehicles for daily dispatch through fleet sizing, optimal utilization and mobilization of fleet

- Line haul carrier performance monitoring & Improvement (e.g. on-time truck performance)

- Line haul cost performance and management in sync with Zonal Goals

- Continuous Improvement Management with carriers, development of SOPs

- Analyze existing trucking versus required capacity, especially to support peak

- Support market research, Request for Quotation process to source new carriers where there are performance issues & Expansion.

- Support Contract management and contract compliance for existing and new routes

- Deploy Line Haul fleet allocation to routes/replacements (based on optimum of cost and performance)

- Maintain and improve communication among stakeholders (DC,LM & vendors)

- Auditing of Bills & payments of Fleet operators. Ensuring no delays in payments of vendors because of approvals, Bill Submission.

- Vendor Relationship management & Vendor retention on routes to gain from the learning curves of Fleet Operator's manpower.

- Support Dynamic Cut off construct to Support Demand Volatility & achieve optimum Cost & SLA.

- Adhoc Vehicle Planning on Volume Visibility reports for selecting the optimal vehicle size

- To Support the Expansion, Speed improvement initiatives & debottlenecking of Line Haul constraints to increase Ekart Reach at optimal cost.

- Ensuring Backhaul efficiency with the stakeholder management.

- Blueprinting of Line haul processes & NC Closure

- Support In preparing Line Haul Roadmap for long term planning & execution

- 5 - 7 Years of work exp

Current CTC - 7 - 10 LPA (Inc Var)

Expected CTC - Not more than 25-30% hike on current
