Logistic Control Assistant (10-15 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Control Assistant to join a fast-paced industrial organization. The ideal candidate should have 10- 15 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, warehouse operations, or transport coordination, preferably in sectors such as agro-commodities, bulk products, fuel, cement, or FMCG. This role requires strong operational knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume daily movements while ensuring compliance with internal controls and loss-prevention procedures.

The Logistics Control Assistant will oversee weighbridge operations, including tracking gross, tare, and net weights, reconciling weighbridge tickets, gate passes, delivery notes, and customer offloading weights.


- The role includes maintaining accurate movement registers, identifying discrepancies between loading and offloading weights, and coordinating with drivers, loaders, and operators to resolve variances. 


- The candidate will also support inventory control, transport documentation, and ensure adherence to safety and compliance protocols.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for daily logs, reconciliations, and variance tracking is essential.


- Familiarity with ERP systems, weighbridge software, and report preparation for daily, weekly, and monthly summaries is required.


- The candidate must demonstrate high integrity, accountability, assertiveness, and the ability to work under pressure, including early mornings and late hours when required. 


- Knowledge of internal audit processes, segregation of duties, and incident reporting is critical. Logistics or supply chain certifications (CILT, APICS) and health & safety training are highly desirable.
