Job Description
Road Coordinator
- Freight Management
- Vendor/Transporter Management
- Resource mobilization i.e. Communication of fleet requirement to transporters with deployment schedule, Mobilising resources for spot priorities, Alignment of road despatches to rake arrival forecast on shift to shift basis.
- Resource Planning i.e. Post receipt of monthly despatch plan to identify requirement for fleet numbers and size for cement and clinker, Communication of the sector wise fleet requirement to each service provider
- Customer Order Fulfilment
- Lead Management i.e. Analysis of Budget vs Actual lead trends. Revisiting leads in line with changes in Rail/Road routes.
Rail Coordinator
- Coordination with Plant and Railways: To coordinate for the monthly rake loading plan to follow up with concerning railway authorities for aligning priorities and allotment of rakes as per requirement, follow up with concerning railway authorities for aligning priorities and allotment of rakes as per requirement
- Understand and ensure implementation of railway policies to the fullest advantage for optimizing logistic cost.

- Understand Railways Infrastructure and Provide inputs related to use of Railway Infrastructure.
