Logistics Head - 3PL (5-20 yrs)
Logistic Head Role. We're looking for someone with the blend of logistic ops plus business development.
- The person will be responsible for managing B2B and B2C logistic ops including first mile, last mile and return management
- Responsible for building consistent, reliable and cost-effective logistic capabilities via 3 PLs
- Ensure most of the orders are attempted for delivered with the agreed SLAs with 3 PLs and therefore ensuring Speed of delivery is maintained below-defined threshold.
- Ensure adherence of vendors to the agreed upon metrics & cost.
- Manage cost per delivery and keep optimizing this by optimizing the RTO and/or finding alternatives 3 PLs with better speed and less cost
- Responsible for the P&L and business expansion for send platform which aggregates 3PL and caters to the logistic requirements of external parties
- Reconcile the monthly invoices and compare with actual shipments, weight discrepancies to ensure courier partners bill us right
- Review the monthly performance for key 3 PLs and ensure performance is maintained and delivered per agreed SLAs
