Opening for Design Engineer for Mumbai Location.
Main Skills Required - Fixtures, Assembly Design, Parts Design, Knowledge & Experience in Preparation of BOM.
Job Summary :
- Mechanical robotics engineer, responsibilities include working in a wide range of industries to maintain or invent robotics systems. Engineers will work with CAD and drafting software to design and manufacture specifications for robotics systems. They will program robots to perform tasks, and fine-tune designs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Studying a design brief
- Thinking of possible design solutions
- Researching whether the design will work and be cost-effective
- Assessing the usability, environmental impact and safety of a design
- Using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-assisted engineering (CAE) software to create prototypes
- Collecting and analysing data from tests on prototypes
- Modifying designs and retesting them
- Making 2D drafting/drawings of various products for approvals and machining
- Supporting sales and project team for drawing approvals
- Designing of parts for new product developments
- Making 3D, 2D layouts & simulation videos for robot applications and other projects.
Special Skills Required :
- Strong maths and IT skills
- A creative flair and design ability
- Good visual and spatial awareness
- Attention to detail.
