Machine Shop Supervisor (5-15 yrs)
We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee machining operations, ensure efficient production, and maintain high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of CNC programming, hands-on machine operation skills, and the ability to lead and coordinate a team of operators effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise daily machine shop operations, including CNC and conventional machines, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
2. Hands-on experience in operating machines and other shop equipment; diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions.
3. Apply logical reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions and approaches, identifying strengths and weaknesses.
4. Estimate machining costs and production time for assigned products.
5. Interpret technical drawings and sketches to plan materials, equipment, and production processes.
6. Develop process plans and control plans based on part or assembly descriptions for fabrication or machining.
7. Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
8. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
Required Skills & Competencies:
