Mahindra Tractors - Officer/Manager - Tractor Assembly (4-8 yrs)
Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Tractor Assembly:
- Supervise and monitor the assembly line operations for tractors.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Troubleshoot assembly line issues and ensure smooth workflow.
2. Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI):
- Conduct thorough inspections of tractors before dispatch to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Identify and rectify defects or issues during the inspection process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to improve efficiency and reduce defects during assembly and PDI.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of quality issues.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the assembly and inspection processes.
4. Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for improving assembly and inspection processes to enhance productivity.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
5. Equipment & Resource Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and optimal utilization of tools and equipment used in assembly and inspection processes.
- Plan manpower allocation effectively to meet production and dispatch targets.
6. Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure assembly and inspection processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
7. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of assembly and inspection activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on production performance, inspection outcomes, and quality metrics for management review.
Qualification + Experience - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5-8 years of experience, OR
- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering/Automobile with 4-8 years of experience
