Job Title: Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Engineer - TFPC

Location: Vasai- Virar (with extension to other geographies as required.

Role Overview

TFPC is seeking a Maintenance Manager/Engineer who is an engineer by heart- someone who naturally dives into details, understands systems deeply, and solves problems hands-on. The role involves leading the maintenance operations for fire-fighting systems under AMC, managing the team, ensuring uptime, coordinating with OEMs/vendors, and delivering high service quality across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Management

- Lead and supervise technicians, helpers, back-office coordinators, and support staff.

- Train team members, assess their capabilities, and assign responsibilities accordingly.

- Ensure discipline, safety, and performance standards within the department.

2. Maintenance Delivery & Quality Assurance

- Ensure all AMC sites are serviced as per schedule and contract scope.

- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring quick turnaround and reliable system performance.

- Maintain detailed service records, checklists, reports, and compliance documentation.

3. Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting

- Act as the technical anchor- able to get into the system, diagnose issues, and solve them personally when needed.

- Handle breakdowns and complex faults in fire pumps, hydrant systems, sprinklers, alarm systems, suppression systems, and panels.

- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.

4. Vendor / OEM / External Agency Coordination

- Coordinate with OEMs, external service partners, and specialized agencies for system repairs, inspections, and replacements.

- Ensure timely availability of parts and support services.

5. Surveys, Analysis & Technical Proposals

- Conduct site surveys for new contracts, system upgrades, and rectification work.

- Analyse system health and identify gaps or risks.

- Prepare technical recommendations, BOQs, and solution proposals for the sales team and clients.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Engineering, or related technical field.

- Must be an engineer by heart- technically curious, detail-oriented, and hands-on.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong know-how of fire-fighting systems and components.

- Experience in handling AMC operations (preferred).

- Ability to lead, delegate, and motivate a team.

- Effective communication and reporting skills.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

Work Scope

- Base location: Vasai- Virar

- Travel & operations across other geographies as needed
