Brief job Description:

- Plan and procure vendor components as per monthly Motorcycle production plan.

- (Category of components Plastic, Polymer, Paints, Decals).

- Ensure availability of components as per shift wise / daily production plan in terms of Quantity and Quality.

- Plan and execute changes in production plan related with cross functional departments in the plant and Vendors.

- Ensure availability of capacity at vendor end to fulfill the required components as per plan.

- Study and enhance vendor capacity for higher / existing volume for existing / new models of Motorcycles as needed.

- Plan and coordinate smooth receipt and issue of vendor components to user dept in the plant as per requirement, to avoid losses.

- Plan and execute outsourcing activity as per management guidelines.

- Monitor Inventory and control within management norms.

- Manage stores function as per TPM methodology.

- Monitor transport cost of vendor material and target to reduce by applying various techniques e.g Milk route run, 3PL (Third party logistics) etc.

- Plan and resolve GST related issues in material procurement.

- Needs to lead, guide and motivate team members for smooth functioning.

- Effective communication with the people down the level and people above.

Salary:INR 14,00,000 - 24,00,000 P.A.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification : Graduate in Mech / Production engineering from reputed institute.

MBA (Matl Mgmt) or MBA (Supply Chain) would be added advantage.

Experience : About 8 - 12, preferably in Automobile / Engineering Industry

Exposure / Experience in the following area :

- Should know various manufacturing processes and systems required for automobile products.

- Should know inventory management and stores management function and systems related to SAP- MM & PP module.

- Strong interface ability with Finance, Purchase, MIS and IB.

- Should have knowledge related to excise and custom formalities.

- Able to handle outsourcing activity related to PPC (bought out and OLC components).

- Should know PIV (Perpetual Inventory Verification) system and take care of external / internal audits.

- Know various latest material handling system used in automobile industry.

- Knowledge related to various Management systems i.e. OTPM, QMS, EMS / OHSAS.

Should have scored more than 65% in X,XII and Engineering.Diploma Holders and part Time Engineering Degree holders kindly excuse.

PG:MBA/PGDM - Other Management
