One of the MNC firms in datacenter business is hiring an Subject Matter Expert for Building Management systems to be based in Pune & Chennai.

Expectations from the role :

- Conceptualize IBMS Design and Architecture

- Design, Planning, Engineering of Integrated Building Management Services, System, Security and Safety

- Evaluation of multiple OEM systems, product, & chose the right suitable mix as per the BMS require-ment

- BOM preparation, cost estimation of the Security, Safety & BMS packages

- Work& collaborate with diverse individuals and groups within the Engineering, Design, Build and Project execution teams to deliver project

- Network infrastructure planning & support to execution for the BMS network in line with organization & functional requirement

- To be updated on latest industry development, new products and technologies. To have a real time update on competition information

Operation Management of BMS Systems and Services

- Responsible for proactively identifying improvements to the existing BMS system in order to reduce BMS-related system failures, and to improve the efficiency of the building

- Complete understanding of standard practices in the Design/Construction industry and/or IT/TELECOM/BPO with exposure to fast-track Design/Build Processes, IT/Telecom services roll-out/transition along with associated documentation and contracting

- Review routine checks for correct operation of all equipment in location that include BMS control of systems.

- Recommend and drive to implement variables and adjustment as required to ensure systems are operating correctly within parameters

BMS Systems, Application and Service Process Control and Compliance

- Daily/Weekly/Monthly review of Reports, Trends, abnormalities in the system and analysis

- Incident Management, Change Management, Event Analysis and Provide technical advice and input on BMS continuous improvement opportunity

- Root Cause Analysis to ensure satisfactory closure

- Audit Handling and Risk Management

Skills/Experience :

- 12 to 14 years relevant Experience in Design & execution of Security, Safety & Building Management systems. Also need to have experience to design & execution of Data Center Build.

- Knowledge of IT Network

- BE/B-tech/Dip/Graduate in Computer, Instrumentation, Electronics, Telecommunications or similar

- Should have experience of working or minimum to read the AutoCAD layouts, design, plan the concept designing for Security, Safety & BMS services.

- Strong Internal & external Client facing and Vendor management experience

- Experience with data center equipment/environments, including switch gears, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems, and an understanding of startup/commissioning processes preferred

- Focus with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment

- Eye for details, energetic & hands-on

- Good interpersonal skills including good verbal and written communication to all levels

- Requires minimum 40 hours per week shift working which includes weekends & Bank Holidays in order to maintain operations.
