Construction Manager

- Must have handled at least 2 projects as Construction Manager in a Refinery / Chemical / Petrochemical project.

- Candidates from Consultancy background would be preferred. Alternatively experience with large EPC contractors.

- Must be very good in written and verbal communication

- Lead in preparation of site deliverables list duly considering applicable Codes & Standards and approved methods.

- Interface with Leads of other departments for smooth co-ordination of various construction activities.

- Lead execution team to meet the project requirement with respect to schedule, quality, and safety guide lines

- Guide Site Engineers to supervise PMC execution for construction activities as per the drawings, specifications and relevant codes/standards.

- Review and approve the quality plan, Inspection & Test plan and work procedures submitted by PMC and ensure contactor is executing the work meeting the approved plans and procedures.

- Attend project review meetings.

- Actively participate in successful implementation of safety program as per contractual requirement.

- Verification and certification of quantities of RA Bills / Final bills submitted by the contractor.

- Review and monitor the adequacy of the manpower and other resources deployed by the PMC for the execution of works as per the approved schedules suggest and guide contractor for an action plan for meeting schedule and contract requirements, monitor the site activities, track progress, help site manager in providing all required inputs

Requirements : Graduate or Diploma Engineer in Civil / Mechanical Engineering with minimum 15 years of experience

Salary : As per Industry standard
