Manager - Demand Planning - Spares Parts (5-8 yrs)
- Demand Planning for all spare parts - about 3000 SKUs for services division to be sent to 300 locations
- Manage Inventory of service spares; Reduce non moving inventory through improved demand planning
- Forecast demand accurately to ensure minimum inventory level, no shortages or obsolescence & reduced customer complaints
- Ensure spares are received from factory in time & are available with Business Partners
- Design & implementing IT solutions to balance customer service & inventory levels
- Reduce number of complaints, inventory days & working capital
- Work closely with Factory Supply Chain Managers, Regional Logistics Managers, CEO for Vertical, National demand planning head, Service managers etc
- Put systems in place and start the usage of SAP for demand planing
- Very strong supply chain concepts; Good at numbers, SAP experience, attention to detail, ability to influence Peers/Seniors
- Not just executing transactions but planning for demand
- From automobiles preferred, NITIE preferred
- BE+MBA, 5-8 years experience, 32-35 years of age
