Manager - Design & Engineering - Blast Furnace (15-20 yrs)
1. Creating or evolving systems & procedures for executing the D&E activities converging towards stake holders expectations/requirements.
2. Scope finalisation, Engineering schedules, risks identification & mitigation measures and corrective actions wherever required during execution
3. Conceptualisation, Basic & detailed engg (includes procurement engg) matching benchmark practices and specific consumptions or better.
4. Ensure integrated way of engg of plant/facility and take ownership for facility completeness, reliability of system, time and cost aspects as well.
5. Compliance to statutory norms/requirements, Future readiness
6. Techno economic analysis of systems, Value engineering, implementation of best practices either in technology or ensure quality of D&E deliverables meeting fit to purpose as per standards/norms, reliability engg
7. Capability development of team for D&E activities and implement state of art engineering practices, utilisation of necessary tools / softwares for optimised engg deliverables and improve quality, safety and ergonomics Engineering change management with justifications
