Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechatronics or Embedded Engineering from a reputed university with good academics. An aptitude for product design is necessary.

Job Description:

- Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, coordinate manufacture and support after sales support teams).

- Design systems and components that meet market requirements.

- Capture design specification in well documented requirement specifications and evolve appropriate systems architecture.

- Build proof-of-concept models and test them to define performance parameters.

- An urge to prototype and prove design ideas with good hands on soldering skills.

- Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions.

- Ability to code quickly in Arduino sketch Embedded C

- Evaluate the final product's overall performance, reliability and safety.

- Design as per global standards like CE, UL, IEC and BIS.

- Estimate budget and scope of project

- Prepare product reports and documentation (Requirement specification doc, Systems diagram, Flowchart, Firmware architecture, Code documentation, etc.)

- Responsible for customer complaints, product improvements and production coordination.

- The profile expects you to have the following skills:

- The candidate should have comprehensive design ability in both hardware and firmware.

- Candidates applying to Chief Manager - Embedded Design will report to the AVP -Design and should have good leadership skills.

- Candidates appearing for the post should understand electronic schematics, hardware layout and PCB design.

- Work experience in schematics development and simulation software's like Proteus will be an added advantage.

- Hands-on experience in prototyping platforms like Arduino and Raspberry Pi.

- Understanding of PCB design and layout in software's like Eagle, Fritzing etc.

- Experience in working with anyone of Microchip microcontrollers, Atmel & Renesas microcontrollers and NXP microcontrollers.

- Solid understanding of core concepts including Power Electronics, Analogue Circuits, Microcontrollers, Embedded C & C ++ etc.

- Creativity and analytical skills

- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner

- Candidate should manage a team of 14-15 Embedded Design Engineer
