Manager /Engineer - PET Process

Responsible for overseeing and optimizing the processes involved in the production of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) products. Ensuring production targets are met, improving process efficiency, and implementing strategies to enhance both productivity and cost-effectiveness. Analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analysing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategies to improve PET production processes, including polymerization, compounding, and extrusion.

- Leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen, to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

- Identifying and resolving issues related to quality, quantity, and equipment performance in the PET production process.

- Utilizing data analysis techniques and performance measurement tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess the effectiveness of process changes.

- Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality control, to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with business goals.

- Creating and maintaining process documentation, as well as providing training to staff on new processes and best practices.

- Managing multiple projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

- Ensuring that all processes and procedures comply with relevant industry standards, such as ISO 9001, and company policies.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE in Chemical Engineering with 3-8 years of experience in PET production or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving production targets and improving process efficiency.

2. Proficiency in process management tools and software, as well as familiarity with process mapping methodologies.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address process issues.

4. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

5. Experience in managing change and driving the adoption of new processes.
