Manager - Engineering Purchase - Composites (6-12 yrs)
Responsibilities:
- Should have thorough knowledge of composite materials.
- Should have good connections with Composite material suppliers.
- Have good communication skills so as to interface with other team members/managers, within the organisation so as to ensure key objectives are met.
- Good knowledge to frame Supply Order Terms and Conditions.
- Knowledge of Vendor assessment.
- Be able to analyse finalized BOM so as to ensure that raw materials, bought-outs etc
are in place to achieve delivery schedules / production targets.
- Assist in the identification and procurement of capital equipment.
- Store / Stock / Limited Shelf life management/ Inventory Management.
- Finalizing Procurement Plan for raw material / machine tools as per approved BOM.
- Planning Monthly / Weekly Procurement activities.
- Keep close tab on Material consumption.
Key Essential Requirements:
- Good negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Composite materials / consumables knowledge for Vacuum Infusion /bagging, VARTM, RTM, Hand lay-up, Spray-up, Filament Winding processes.
- Data base of Composite raw material suppliers.
- Procurement experience of about 6 - 12 years preferably in Composites industry.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of south Indian languages would be an added advantage.
- Must have good reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS office package and presentation
- Key AS & ISO player.
Qualifications :- BE, preferably Mechanical
