Manager - Food Quality (3-5 yrs)
Looking for a Quality Engineer or rather a Food Quality Engineer who has below as must haves :
- B.tech or other equivalent degree in Food sciences / Food technology is preferred.
- Min. 3 year experience as a quality control lead in Food Industry.
- Experience with making ISO documents and trained as a HACCP Food safety member.
- On hand experience of performing Qualitative analysis on Food products for checking specifications
- Trained to perform internal audits from a reputed certification agency.
Responsibilities :
1) Maintain, create and update all SOPs, policies, specifications and other documents of the firm pertaining to ISO.
2) Plan and implement a training schedule for employees for upskilling and ensuring GMPs are followed across the plant
3) Ensure all documentation (including production records, QC Records, equipment maintenance and calibration records, legal documents and certifications, etc) are regularly maintained by respective departments and highlight any discrepancy.
4) Ensure implementation of all SOPs on the factory floor and adherence to the quality policy of the firm
5) Perform Quality assurance tasks and regular sampling of RM,SFM and FG in our in-house lab.
6) Lead the QA/ QC department of the firm and ensure all associated tasks are completed on a timely basis.
7) Perform internal Audits, generate CAPA reports, COA reports and handle client queries/ complaints pertaining to quality.
8) Oversee the firm's ISO implementation plan and handle any responsibility pertaining to its implementation
