Job Profile - :

Production Planning:

- Understand monthly production plan and do the machine/material/manpower planning.

- Identify material requirement & generate requirement for material purchase.

- Prepare daily production plan as per shifts/given targets and achieve production plans.

Execution of Production Plan:

- Monitor the execution of production plan & maintain coordination with Molding, QA, Purchase & other departments.

- Identify the problems related to material, machines, quality & provide appropriate solutions.

- Achieve daily production targets as per given plan.

- Responsible for continual improvement of production/quality/cost saving practices.

- Conduct daily meetings with Operators & provide guidance to improve performance.

- Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods to Dispatch dept.as per given schedule.

Quality & Cost Control:

- Monitor the quality parameters and control rejections/wastages. Identify quality/process related problems & provide solutions.

- Identify & implement best production practices to improve productivity, quality, processes

- Provide solutions to reduce downtime & minimize wastages.

- Prepare & maintain documents/reports for Quality/Safety audits and ensure compliance of standards.

Continual Improvement:

- Plan & design innovative production concepts, practices for continual improvement & performance.

- Provide on job training to Operators & provide inputs for overall development.

- Create awareness among operators for submission of kaizens & implement the kaizen for improvement. Ensure submission of kaizen as per given targets.

- Maintain 1s, 2s & supervision of department housekeeping.

Reporting & MIS:

- Attend daily morning meeting and take active participation in the discussions. Develop action plan on the points discussed and ensure all tasks are completed at the end of day.

- Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to Management as per given formats. Update all reports/data in the system on regular basis.

- Maintain prompt communication with Management/other departments on mails/phone calls & provide support for resolving issues.
