Manager - Instrumentation - Manufacturing Firm (10-15 yrs)
Position : Manager-Instrumentation (Leading MNC Manufacturing Company)
Role :
- Provide technical expertise to engineers and offer expertise in problem solving in order to reduce downtime across all plants for smooth and continuous functioning of the production process
- Responsible for managing the instrumentation team in the Plant
- Provide technical expertise to engineers and involve in solving break down
- Prepare schedule for preventive maintenance and monitor the same
- In-charge of spares management and review
- Handles plant engineering and up gradation and retrofits
- Help to increase availability/reliability of instrumentation system
- Responsible for competency development and have full functioning knowledge of the process
- Provide support structure and vendor development for services
- Responsible for software management and QMS including plant MIS
- Will lead a team of 4-5 Engineers
Requirements :
- Bachelor of Engineering (instrumentation/electronic)
- 10-15 yrs of relevant experience
- Knowledge on and experience with field instruments like temp, flow, pressure etc make E&H, P&F
- Knowledge on PLC & SCADA software - Make Siemens
- Knowledge on MCC, Drives, Switchgear etc - Make Siemens
- Knowledge on electrical and control cabling
