Manager IT - Plant Operations (5-10 yrs)

1. Job Purpose
In order to drive transformation in demand planning to inventory management, major automation and IT reforms are being planned in the areas of supply chain.
1. This role is expected to drive IT initiatives and work closely with project teams and Operations to realize business KPIs
2. Expected to do the roles of Solution Architect, Program Manager and Consultant, with technical and functional expertise to successfully implement best practices and realize the benefits from the identified supply chain initiatives.
2. Responsibilities:-
1. Implement SAP as well as non-SAP solutions using best business practices for supply chain initiatives
2. Interface with MES, PLM, supply chain teams, implementation partners and the IT Team for delivering solutions
3. Budget preparation of capex and opex and coordinate with purchase & IT for the required procurement
4. Define integrations, customizations and configurations to achieve agreed deliverables
5. Lead problem solving & trouble shooting
6. Keep track of emerging trends & concepts. Adopt best practices for our businesses and suitably guide and support to institutionalize it.
3. Mandatory Skills
1. Functional SAP knowledge in MM configuration (Procurement, PP, IM and WM/EWM) as well as functional integration knowledge of other modules such as FI and SD
2. Knowledge of SAP APO or IBP.
3. Working knowledge of S&OP concepts and methodologies.
4. SAP S4/Hana Enterprise Management is a plus.
5. Good Knowledge in Materials requirement planning, procure to pay cycle
6. Strong in-depth experience with SAP procurement process and inventory management
7. Warehouse management Transfer orders, Stock put away and pick-away strategies
8. Experience with system management processes, business requirements, solution design and
configuration, and user acceptance testing.
9. Knowledge of project management and Software implementation life cycle
10. Experience with at least 2 full life cycle implementations.
Minimum eligibility - BE / B.Tech - 60% percentage marks
