Manager - Jewellery Design (10-12 yrs)
Position Summary :
Responsible to enhance the output from the current design team by making them develop the design ranges that are new, trendy, innovative and commercially viable, for all categories, on a seasonal basis to serve the customer needs.
Principle Accountabilities :
- With the sketching knowledge guide the team to enhance the design output.
- Forecasting trends, developing inspiration design direction for each season, maintaining identity.
- Reacting to general trends in the Jewellery industry as well as key fashion trends, visiting local shops to check on the competition.
- Designing traditional and Contemporary Jewellery designs.
- Net Browsing - Design galleries & researching Jewellery trends and keeping an eye on the fashion world to keep abreast of developments in the industry.
- Building reputation by networking, entering competitions, attending fairs, and producing high-quality work.
