Manager - Logistics (3-8 yrs)
Role : Logistics Manager
Location : Bangalore
Experience : 3.0 - 8.0 Years
Must-Have : Working in any e logistics firm
Responsibilities :
- Direct the activities of all functions involved in the logistics, Shipments, planning, warehousing and inventory controls
- Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of supply chain, vix reducing cost and delivery timelines
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to customs and cross-border trade.
- Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches.
- Keep detailed records, generate reports and develop presentations to help management understands the logistics perspective.
- Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery and returns on the product.
- Understand accounting, legal documents and build lasting relationships as they increase efficiency and focus on warehouse optimization across multiple geographies
Requirement :
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or related field, with Masters or MBA preferred.
- 2-4 years progressive experience in the field of consulting, logistics planning or supply chain management.
- Must be a strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
- Proven leadership skills in building and managing large teams.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
