Manager - Maintenance - Casting Shop (13-19 yrs)
Manager - Maintenance ( casting shop)
- Experience in a Die Casting Company is mandatory.
Purpose:
- Establishing plant equipment and utilities for smooth commissioning and regular running of the plant
- Establishing, maintaining and continually improving the overall maintenance system of the plant
- Ensuring that plant operates at optimal levels all times and meets statutory requirements
Role description :
- Erecting and commissioning of plant equipment and utilities
- Achieving timely execution of projects as per planned time frame
- Implementing the plant's preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Overseeing the breakdown maintenance of machines to minimize production loss
- Establishing a good spare part management system
- Implementing Total Productive Maintenance(TPM)
- Conducting regular inspections and audits for ensuring optimal upkeep of facilities
- Reducing the losses and continually upgrading the equipment for improving availability of equipment
- Ensuring breakdowns are analysed and actions are taken at root cause level for eliminating recurrence of problems
- Establishing a good equipment maintenance information system
- Overseeing maintenance of utility equipment and providing uninterrupted utility service
- Ensuring equipment safety by providing poke yokes, interlocks etc.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
Requirements : Mechanical graduate preferably with post-graduation in Maintenance Engineering / Production Engineering.
- Should have minimum 15 years work experience in maintaining foundry, CNC machine tools and utility equipment
- Ability to deal effectively with statutory authorities
- Knowledge in TPM
