Primary Function

- Estimation and Capex finalization of machining and assembly process with lean concept for new programs

- CFT lead for Process documentation (PFD,PFMEA and Standard Work instructions) for Machining and assembly

- Process finalization for Machining and Assembly with Lean Manufacturing concept

- Ordering, procuring and installation of facilities as per process design.

- Machine qualification process, SPC & MSA

- Fixture & Tools design & development, validation and calibration

- Error proofing design and implementation

- Following the system and achieve department KPI as per MED procedure

- Responsible for coordinating continuous improvement process and activities

Rolls & Responsibilities

- Handle the new product development from RFQ to completion of PPAP

- Ensure the machines design as per all required standards and approve the machine, jigs & fixtures and process design

- Conduct cycle time study and eliminate non-value added work content based on Standardized work (lean tool).

- Perform daily floor support and contribute for Kaizen

- Monitor existing processes and implement changes accordingly to Process improvement projects with full accountability for project results by means of sound engineering principles and proven industrial procedures

- Manages and updates tool drawings and responsible for maintain all documents

- Key role in the development of PFD, PFMEA and Control plan and preparation of documents in MS office word, power point & Excel.

- Maintain proper filling system ( hard & Soft) to ensure all information are properly stored and easily retrieved

- Coordinates and verifies equipment vendors against - acceptance Criteria - as specified in the Technical Specification for purchase

- Multi task, problem solve and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

- Provide new projects training manual and train the operator to meet the requirement

- Auditee for TS 16949 and customer process audits

- Team lead for RPN reduction and revision of FMEA, Ergonomics risk assessment and process Benchmarking.

- Preparation of standardized work documents

- Make a plan for Fixture and tool, Error proofing calibration and Revalidation and execute it as per plan

- Preparation of 2D drawings using Auto CAD for Fixtures, Tools and layouts

- Travel to supplier's locations all over India during development of manufacturing facilities

- Preparation of MIS data on based on department deliverables for management review.
