Manager - Metals Procurement - Manufacturing (8-14 yrs)
Position : Manager-Procurement (Metals) (Leading MNC Manufacturing Co)
Role & Responsibility :
- Will be required to purchase/ source 200-400 tonnes of steel every month
- 8-14 yrs of experience in Steel related Sales & Procurement
- This position reports into the Supply Chain Management Head
- Good understanding of the Steel Industry and its supply/ demand drivers, steel costing and factors influencing galvanisation costs
- Ideally the candidate should have worked in sales and moved to procurement
- Ensuring procurement of steel coils/ slitting of coils as per production requirements
- Should be good at data analysis and negotiations
