Manager - Operation - Shipping & Cargo Business (10-25 yrs)
Character Sketches is looking for a experience Operations Managers (East & West Coasts of India) for his client whose in Shipping and cargo industry. Company is a 25 year old Shipping Agency in Mumbai.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from any stream.
- 10- 25 years' experience in Shipping and cargo industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Focused and goal-oriented.
- Male Candidate is preferred.
Role and Responsibility:
- Candidates who have over 10 year experience in independently handling dry bulk, break bulk, Project cargoes & tanker vessels.
- Candidates who are well connected to Charterers, Cargo Owners, Receivers and Ship Owners and willing to travel within India and overseas and those who can generate business only need apply.
- Lay time, demurrage calculation and trouble shooting exposure is a must.
- Those having the ability to handle escalated issues directly with the traffic manager and Chairman with excellent written and oral communications skills will be preferred.
- The candidates need to have working experience in the shipping industry. JM Baxi, Interocean, Atlantic Shipping, Chowgule Brothers, GAC Shipping, Benline, Damani Shipping, are some of the shipping companies.
