Manager - Planning & International Logistics - International Business - FMCG (8-10 yrs)
A Leading FMCG company is looking for Planning and Logistics Manager for their international business arm.
Headquartered in Mumbai, this company has its operations in the Foods FMCG business. This role is based in Mumbai.
We are looking for candidates from premier B-Schools only, from 2005/2006/2007/2008 batches .
The brief profile is as follows, a detailed JD will be shared with interested candidates:
- Function as subject matter expert in SCM, Logistics.
- Coordination with manufacturing plants in India and across the world to ensure timely dispatches to achieve highest levels of customer service
- Manage the product order and shipment flows
- Coordinate New product development (introduction) / Product discontinuation for new or existing customers
- Identification, negotiation and appointment of logistics partners like transporters, CHA, freight forwarder etc. for effective and efficient movement of goods for both import and exports
- Tracking of shipment
- Working with Sales to generate demand plan and rolling sales forecast and share with the manufacturing plants
