Manager - Process Engineering (12-15 yrs)
One of our clients is looking for a professional to head their Process Engineering department. Following are some of the key requirements :
- 12-15 years of hands-on experience & expertise in CNC Programming & Auto CAD. Complete knowledge of cutting tools & inserts, drills & milling cutters used for machining for heavy components. Well versed in selection of the above tools & also customization of the tools & tool geometry based on the product requirement.
- Well versed with VTL's, VMC's, Large diameter drilling machines, Gear cutting machines & Hard part turning machines.
- Machining Process development for new bearings, Process improvement for existing bearings with respect to Productivity, Sustainability Safety and other parameters.
- Developing & Optimizing CNC Programs for machines Like turning, radial & axial drilling, Gear milling etc.
- Development of cutting tools for the processes like turning, milling, drilling & hard part turning.
- Involve in new machine selection, discussions, and finalization process. Installation and commissioning of machines. Tool up new machines and set them for normal production.
- Control on deviation rework & rejection.
