Experience : Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in Purchase & Development of proprietary aggregates preferably in Automobiles, Construction Equipment & Heavy Machinery
Responsibilities and Duties :
- The incumbent is responsible to do sourcing, purchasing, forecasting & capacity planning of direct materials (OEM & Spares) used in Construction equipment machineries
- Expertise in Proprietary parts like Hydraulic components, engine, drive lines & electrical components
- Commercial terms finalization & Negotiation
- Ability to generate & implement cost reduction ideas as per company set target
- Development of new product components as per Supply Chain Policy
- Supplier capacity planning & monitoring
- Develop new vendor base & co-ordinate with CFT team for improvement & audit
- Ability to negotiate commercial & Legal contracts with vendors.
- Conduct proper Review and Key Account Meetings at prescribed frequency and give regular MIS to Management
Required skills :
- Knowledge of Raw Materials.
- Knowledge of various Checking Aids
- Working Knowledge of SAP-MM (Module)
