We have the following requirement for Operational Procurement Manager with a global leader in Manufacturing & Packaging firm in Mumbai

Role description :

- Responsible for India Operational Procurement for Direct Materials for all the plants in India includes, Material Availability as per the Plan, Supplier relationship management & coordination between supplier and Plant Operations.

- Provide support primarily for organisation's Procurement Excellence's Programme (Procure Plus) Campaigns (process design and continuous improvement planning initiatives) and sourcing (complex categories) projects across India with support from head office(Singapore)

- Execute the strategic procurement processes and standard operating procedures for selected categories, including data analysis, support in buying activities, savings opportunity identification and day-to-day interaction with internal stakeholders

- Collaborate and work closely with other parts of the organisation to forward procurement goals and objectives

- Support all activities within the procurement function and regularly report to the General Manager Procurement and procurement leadership on key procurement metrics and subjects

- Full Procurement Savings and Spend Responsibility

- Global Source Data Base reporting and management

- Global Saving Tracking System reporting

- Global Contracting Database renewal and management

- Build constructive relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs

- Ensure understanding and compliance with key procurement strategies

- Working simultaneously on multiple, complex projects

- Extensive use of Excel and raw data formats and making analysable data out of the clutter

- Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHS&E) Responsibilities & Authority

Candidate Requirement:

- Bachelor- s/ Engineering degree in a relevant discipline, MBA preferably with 5 - 8 Years of experience in above role

- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is a must

- Excellent quantitative analysis and problem solving skills required
