Manager - Procurement & Supplier Management (10-15 yrs)
1. Preparing material budget as per the annual plan (AOP)
2. Formulating schedules /plans for the supplier to ensure material delivery as per requirement and on time
3. Managing inventory of all parts within stipulated target- Inventory DPI as per MIN-MAX
4. Leading a team of buyers and formulating their development plan
5. Implementing systems like MRP/MPS, Kanban with suppliers and ensuring procurement of parts as per MRP
6. Ensuring timely payments to supplier and vendors for efficient working of the plant
7. Achieving cost saving targets by insourcing, resourcing, negotiation, cost effective vendor development etc.
8. Liaison with sourcing for formulating vendor/supplier capacity as per AOP plan
9. Liaison with SQ&D for ensuring adherence to agreed process at suppliers and vendors end.
10. Liaison with plant PPC for ensuring material as per plan for production
11. Liaison with central VSME team for development of supplier as per VSME principles
12. Publishing delivery ratings of suppliers on monthly basis for Score card
13. Chalking out actions plan for improving supplier score card.
