Manager - Product Design - Building Material (11-14 yrs)
Position : Manager- Product Design (Leading Building Materials MNC Company)
Role :
- To provide the design solutions to meet cost-effectiveness and on-time deliveries & come up with innovative & creative ideas
- Validating product designs, identify constraints and providing corrective action
- Should have expertise in Sheet Metal Product design, Product improvement, VAVE, Material specs & have detailed knowledge of product life cycle management
- To develop the design documentation & performing research analysis
- Should be able to manage the product development process from the concept phase to the launch analysis phase
- To decide the tool material for soft tooling & short-run production in the view to reduce the cost of tool & manufacturing process
- Support till the Production Part Approval Process is done for the Product Design and Engineering
- Good in filing the design registration & patent & protecting the Business's Intellectual property
- To support process automation to increase efficiency & effectiveness of the team
- To manage all design analysis Software & keep the track of renewals
- Should be able to understand the various standards and codes and maintain the backend as per ISO guidelines
Requirements :
- BE (Mech)+ M.Tech in Product Design/ Mechanical/ Production
- 11 to 14 years of experience in Building Material Industry into Design and New Product Development
- Should be good in Sheet metal components, process Automation & have an in-depth knowledge of Product Engineering
- Benchmarking competition's systems & designing products/systems using various design analysis software like Pro/E, Pro/Mechanical & AutoCAD
- Should be able to perform component & system level design simulation analysis using manual calc. & analysis software
- Should be able to provide the desired design & value-engineered product keeping in mind each element of a design process & market need.
