Manager - Product Development - Tyre Manufacturing Firm (10-12 yrs)
- We have an opening for one of our Tyre Manufacturers.
Main Responsibilities/Job Summary (Primary deliverables of role and its scope) :
1. Study of RFQ and prepare the design proposal for new projects.
2. Coordinate all Benchmark study related activity.
3. Coordinate with PI team and arrange the BOM for Cost working
4. Coordinate all DVP activities and compile report.
5. Coordinate all data book preparation activity in each sample submission loop.
6. Coordinate with local outdoor and indoor testing team for timely completion of testing.
7. Support QA for PTR & PPAP submission and approval.
8. Support QA for CSQSR deployment.
9. Support QA for product related issues at OEM assembly line and also in field.
10. Review of outdoor results (OEM feedback), discuss MFS along with project lead for next Iteration.
11. Prepare and arrange the review of QR gate documents.
Main Purpose of Job (Why job exists/what it must achieve) :
- Ensure timely submission of samples and test data book to OEM for each submission.
- Coordinate with internal and external test agencies.
- Technical support to the customers.
- Participate in technical meetings and joint testing.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements (Abilities / Knowledge & Expertise in field) :
Knowledge (Technical/Functional) :
1. Basic knowledge on 2W tyre manufacturing, testing equipment & Test standard
2. Knowledge on Quality management systems (PPAP,APQP)
3. Knowledge on problem solving techniques.
4. Basic knowledge on tyre development process.
Skills :
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills Qualifications
- Mechanical, Polymer engineering.
Experience : 10 to 12 Years exposure to tyre manufacturing/vehicle testing/Quality Systems/Technical Service.
