Manager - Production (5-9 yrs)
KRA:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer orders and deadlines.
- Coordinate with the design, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor production schedules to optimise capacity utilisation.
- Lead and manage production teams, including operators, technicians, and supervisors.
- Provide ongoing training and support to ensure skill development and efficiency.
- Set performance goals for the team and monitor progress.
- Implement quality control standards to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
- Perform root-cause analysis for any defects and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor production costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and work towards budget adherence.
- Ensure optimal use of raw materials, minimising wastage.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in production management in the modular furniture or related manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of modular furniture production techniques and materials (wood, laminates, MDF, etc.
