Production / Manufacturing Manager_GIC (10-15 yrs)

Summary :

We are currently seeking lead for Production / Manufacturing Manager for Global In-house Centre (GIC) operating from Bangalore. Production / Manufacturing Manager shall be responsible for management of manufacturing operations including production planning, schedule management, headcount & material management, establishing quality assurance systems, and promote health & safety activities.

Responsibilities :

- Researching and selecting location of the new factory;

- Drawing up design of the factory;

- Implementing construction plans of the factory;

- Sharing and deploying manufacturing technology in Japan;

- Formulating mid-term plans for the factory;

- Formulating a business plan and manage budget;

- Establishing quality assurance systems;

- Overseeing efforts to improve productivity;

- Overseeing the 3S (sort, straighten, sanitize);

- Drafting and promoting plans for enhancement of the skill level of workers;

- Streamline communication with Japan;

Qualifications :

- Experience as Production Manager in India, ideally over 10 years

- Deep knowledge of assembly line production

- Deep knowledge pertaining to the diesel engine and farming equipment

- Good knowledge pertaining to productivity enhancement and quality control

- Quick learner and flexible

- Better to have domain knowledge of the diesel engine, farming equipment in India

- Better to have knowledge of acquisition of plant setup permission and environmental permission

- Better to have experience of plant setup and production equipment introduction.

- Minimum qualification of Bachelor, preferably with an MBA in mechanical / electrical engineering
