Production Manager (Pressure Cooker Manufacturing)

You would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the cooker production process, from planning and scheduling to quality control and cost management and ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team to achieve production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing and implementing production schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring timely completion of orders.

- Managing and allocating raw materials, equipment, and personnel to optimize production efficiency.

- Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to ensure products meet customer requirements and industry standards.

- Motivating and guiding a team of production supervisors and employees, providing support for their development and performance.

- Monitoring production costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring budget adherence.

- Continuously improving production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.

- Ensuring that all employees follow industry-standard health and safety guidelines and that the production environment is safe.

- Collaborating with other departments (e.g., purchasing, engineering) to ensure smooth operations and meet production goals.

- Identifying and resolving production issues, such as equipment malfunctions, quality defects, or delays.

- Tracking production metrics, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and reporting on production performance.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE or Diploma Production or Industrial Engineering with 5-8 Years of proven experience in a production management role in a manufacturing environment in a Cooker Industry.

2. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

3. Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and quality control systems.

4. Ability to motivate and lead teams, manage time effectively, and collaborate with others.

5. Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.

6. Experience in reporting key performance metrics.

7. Advanced computer skills; Excel (including data analysis/charts), Outlook, Microsoft Word, Power point, etc.

8. Decision-making & problem-solving skills and a result driven approach.
