Manager - Production & Quality - Building Material Manufacturing (8-12 yrs)
Responsibilities include identifying & qualifying potential suppliers.
Manage supplier contracts; competitively bidding product supply & negotiating.
Managing manufacturing and packaging specifications; setting up quality standards with suppliers, online manufacturing & final quality check at the plant.
Developing and enforcing service level agreements; developing a samples process; ensuring appropriate controls are in place to manage suppliers and mitigate risks; conducting periodic supplier reviews to drive costs down and achieve efficiencies.
Candidate Requirement:-
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline and Masters with emphasis on Production or equivalent experience in shop floor
Experience developing, managing and negotiating vendor relationships
Professional level experience in vendor quality/manufacturing, supplier development, and related fields
Ability to manage cross functional stakeholders and internal customers
Good communication skills and strong relationship management skills
Ability to present to leadership and fellow colleagues
