Job Description :

We are currently looking for Experienced Chemical Engineers who are expertise in Project & Process Engineering domain for our Leading Global Pharmaceutical Client.

Education : B.E/B.Tech/ M.Tech - Chemical Engineering ( Full Time)

Experience : 10 + Years

Responsibilities :

Role Summary :

Key team member of the Capital Projects department, at the Aurangabad API site. Capital Projects is technical department consisting of project & process engineers, and major role is to assess, define, plan and execute capital investments to achieve strategic and operating plan commitments. Lead and drive the assigned responsibilities of capital plan including, but not limited to :

1) API plant Capacity enhancement and EHS / cGMP compliance projects including all phases like conceptualization, Basic & Detail Engg, Budget preparation /approval, procurement assistance, execution, contractor management and qualification/validation. Fire hydrant systems design, plan, execute in-consultation with consultant and network SMEs

2) Plans for Process Engineering Initiatives and advanced systems to improve performance of equipments.

3) Manage complex site improvement initiatives such as: Process safety management needs, new product facilities etc.

4) Align with cross functional site teams and network resources to leverage processes, standard work, procurement, technical support, and qualification. Drive successful project planning & execution - monitor changing priorities in a dynamic environment, look for opportunities for efficiency improvements, align engineering resources across multiple projects to deliver results that meet multiple stakeholder time frames.

Role Responsibilities :


1. Assist to Project Head/In-charge in detailing, procurement/indenting, execution/installation, commissioning and handover capital projects. Lead/participate to conceptualize and execute the capital projects.

2. Understand/Verify the user requirements, Lead for preparation of the project scope & estimate. Ensure alignment of cross functional teams like R&D, User, Quality, Procurement etc.

3. Prepare / Review the basic & detail engineering documents consisting of equipment sizing/specifications, Heat & mass balance calculations, Data sheets, BOQ, PFD/ P&IDs/Layouts/ ULDs, operating philosophy, support system planning etc.

4. Process design / review of project proposal. Identify, verify and implement process engineering aspects in capital project during different phase of capital projects.

5. Ensure and Monitor the project progress to ensure quality, cost and timelines as per plan.

6. Participate in various technical discussions with consultant, vendors, suppliers, contractors and Co-ordinate with procurement team for PR & PO, delivery plan, inspection visits etc.

7. Prepare/ Review qualification documents like DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ.

8. Execute capital project with co-ordination with contractors, suppliers and engineering resources like mechanical, electrical, civil, utilities, instrumentation etc.

9. Role requires good knowledge of chemical engineering areas like heat transfer, mass transfer, distillation, scrubbing, filtration/drying, reaction chemistry, separation, transfer systems, pumps, powder handling systems etc.

10. Good knowledge of Process hazard identification/analysis study, HVAC & water systems and Automation is important.
