Job Description :

- Handling multiple projects from basic design to final commissioning and hand over to production or concern Department.

- Construction supervision and execution of project.

- Managing all aspects of projects ex: Planning, Co-Ordination with fabricators/vendors/contractors and Ensuring successful completion within the estimated cost and time frame.

- Erection and commissioning of pilot scale equipments for various fields of Chemical Engineering like Mass transfer, Heat Transfer, Mechanical Operation, Chemical reaction Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Environmental Engineering.

- Performance testing of Equipment & Coordinating on site demonstration activity.

- Preparation of operating manuals, technical specifications for various tenders and proposals.

- Knowledge about Mechanical Equipments, Electrical Equipments and various Instruments.

- Test and checks of various equipments so that the probabilities of their failure is almost nil.

- Planning and schedule monitoring.

- Co-ordination with clients and contractors.

- Interact with clients to understand their specific requirements and execute the project accordingly.

- Carryout day-to-day inspection activities as per quality control plans and procedures.

- Billing and certification, Preparation of Quality record and Project Documentation work.

- Quality Assurance and Quality Control during execution of project.

- Optimum utilization of resources including manpower.

- Responsible for monitoring SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) parameters of the factory Act.

- Manpower Management and Controlling.

- Managing new and expansion projects with effective contribution of technical and managerial inputs.

- Identifying and isolating areas of obstructions to ensure smooth implementation of project.

- Implementing Energy Conservation measures by defining & monitoring operation parameters.

- Drawing requirements of materials/ machines for projects and plant operations and driving vendor development initiatives to arrange scheduled delivery of quality inputs on most competitive terms.

- Implementing preventive, planned and predictive maintenance practices to maximize operational availability. Spares and ensuring availability of reasonable inventory of critical spares at all times.

- Facilitated implementation of ISO 9001 and 14000 standards for engineering domain realigning entire procedure and documentation.
