Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Strategy & Vendor Management - Capex/Opex/Commodity
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials.
- Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing with vendors while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
2. Purchase Operations & Cost Control
- Oversee purchase planning, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure timely procurement.
- Monitor purchase orders (POs), ensuring alignment with project requirements and budgets.
- Conduct cost analysis to identify areas of cost savings and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company policies in all purchase processes.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the purchase team, ensuring skill enhancement and performance management.
- Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery of procurement objectives.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand material requirements and improve procurement processes.
4. Quality Assurance & Documentation- Vendor
- Ensure that vendor materials meet specifications, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
- Oversee vendor inspection, material testing, and defective material replacement processes.
- Maintain and update procurement records, vendor performance reports, and inventory documentation.
5. Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and safety compliance standards.
