Manager - Purchase - Manufacturing (10-12 yrs)
Job Description :
1. Identifying preferred supplier, generating business from the existing sources, thereby achieving the saving target
2. Driving high-value saving plans, large scale cost savings and improving project performance
3. Negotiation - Cost preparation and comparison sheet. Negotiate commercial terms with vendors to finalize PO.
4. Follow up with vendors for material, co-ordination with Quality for inspection to ensure OTD.
5. Inventory Management - Weekly monitor material receiving, communicate material plan with buyers and evaluate their accountability, monthly classification of material (slow moving, nonmoving).
6. Define service levels and safety stock. Manage inventory level to ensure availability of material for smooth production.
7. Heading material planning and supply chain
