Manager - Purchase - Pharma (2-5 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for herbal extracts; establish and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiation efforts with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, terms, and quality standards, with a focus on cost-saving measures.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, anticipate procurement needs, and manage inventory efficiently to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Quality Control: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all purchased materials meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and availability of key ingredients; advise on strategic purchasing decisions.
- Cost Management: Manage the purchasing budget effectively, analyze cost-effectiveness, and maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other data.
- Compliance: Ensure all purchases adhere to regulatory guidelines, including GMP, FDA, and other industry-specific standards.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve the purchasing process, reduce lead times, and improve cost efficiency
