Responsibility :
- The job requires to establish, prepare, review, update and implement Quality Management system, procedures, policies and plans as per the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 and for the related manufacturing company business operations.
- She/he must ensure continuous improvements through techniques such as TQM, 5S, DPU, POKA YOKE, KAIZEN, 5M, CTQ, Lean manufacturing, cost of quality etc.
- She/he shall be accountable for scheduling internal audits and monitor and report the non- compliance on periodic basis and ensure the completion of corrective & preventive actions.
- She/he shall have to conduct/co-ordinate training programs for staff as per training calendar on various topics related to quality management system for improving awareness & culture building.
Experience/ Qualification :
- The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in quality management system and related internal as well as external audits and preferably in past 2 years would have worked as QMS manager/team leader in his/her current employment.
- The thorough exposure to manufacturing activities with an industrial engineering/automation company is essential.
- Good working knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, TPM and 6-Sigma policies and procedure such as SPC, cost reduction ideas etc. and system-based knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001), EMS (ISO 14001) & OHSAS (ISO 18001) is mandatory.
- He/ She must be a graduate Engineer from a reputed college and should be a certified internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 based work systems.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification will be an added advantage.
- The candidate should possess strong communication, influencing & presentation skills.
